Abstract
Problem of small scale term holders to Nigeria alone there are similar problems all over the developing countries. So far agricultural credit is a known limiting factor to the realization of the dream of this group of farm holders (small scale holders) improve producing despite the birth of the Nigeria small holders had largely been neglected. The need for agricultural credit is to improve other things in agricultural production the impact of bank lending to agricultural development had been favoured in the discussion from the researcher investigation the poor performance of institution credit is not uncollected with farmers themselves judging from their basic attitudes towards loan obligation and their basic features which make lending in this sector it therefore recommended that farm holders should be unlighted inculcate the spirit of loan discipline to take insurance cover against insurable hazard and should be encouraged to form a viable co-operation societies and other farmers group to attract institution credit.
